Top Questions of 2005
Q: How can I stop my previous search Keywords from appearing in my searchbox?
A:
Your problem may be caused by the auto complete function in Internet Explorer settings. If you open up an internet page, then click on Tools > Internet Options > Content (tab) > Auto Complete > then untick forms and save your settings.

Q: Can you create a link to my site? / Can we exchange links please?
A:
Unfortunately, we cannot help with link requests. We search the leading search engines and return the best results. This means that all the links on our results pages have come from our search partners and have not been created by WebFetchGo. We do not operate a reciprocal links policy.

Q: How can I turn off my recent searches?
A:
Please go to the Preferences page on WebFetchGo and click Recent Searches Off, and save your settings. This will remove the list of recent searches from your results pages.

Q: How do I get my site listed?
A:
WebFetchGo is a metasearch engine which means we compile our results from many search engines. We are unable to add listings to the results from our search partners. We recommend that you contact our search partners to get a search listing.

Q: Why is my WebFetchGo toolbar showing all my previous searches?
A:
If you are using the WebFetchGo Toolbar, please click on the WebFetchGo.com logo in the toolbar and select Toolbar Settings. There is a button you should click to Turn Off Search History.

Q: Why am I suddenly seeing pop-up ads on WebFetchGo?
A:
WebFetchGo does not allow pop-up ads of any kind on our site. If you are seeing pop-up ads on your computer, here are a few possible reasons why:

1.You installed a free program or application (typically a music sharing program, for instance) that is launching the pop-ups either at random intervals or based on something you have typed on a Web page.
2.You visited a site prior to WebFetchGo that launched a pop-up window in the background. These are generally referred to as "pop-unders".
3. You accidentally visited a site with an address very similar to WebFetchGo. Sometimes people register domain names that are a letter or two different than a well-known site. This way, if you enter the wrong address, you will be taken to their site and then bombarded by their advertising.

Q: How do I search within results or refine my search?
A:
WebFetchGo gives you the opportunity to search within results for greater accuracy. When you enter a search, WebFetchGo automatically categorizes results into categories based on words and phrases contained in the results.

For example, if you searched the term "insurance", WebFetchGo would sort the results into various insurance categories, like Home, Auto, Fire, Health, etc. By clicking on any of the category links, you would then view the results for that specific category.

Q: How do I filter out Adult Content from my searches?
